Today I’m here to share my simple Valentine’s Day decor! I don’t go all out, but do like a few festive touches! A little pink and red sprinkled about never hurt anyone (well, not that I am aware of anyway)!

Hot on the heels of sharing our kitchen faucet update I thought I’d share a roundup of ten great faucets I came across during our search.

Although we loved the white ceramic sink that our kitchen came with, we never loved the old white faucet. The colour wasn’t the issue, but the look and funcionality left much to be desired. So, when Kevin accidentally broke the sprayer with an April fools joke gone bad (or good?), we decided that it was time for an upgrade.

Looking for something warm and comforting on these cold winter’s nights? Well, look no further! Kevin’s been in the kitchen again and this time he whipped up a fabulous Chicken Kale Corn Chowder. It is smooth, creamy, rich and absolutely delicious.

Well, in keeping with tradition, this year it is out with the old and in with the new! After almost a year off from blogging (I was rather busy having a baby – my sweet little Linden) I am back! And with me, I bring a fresh, new redesigned Visual Meringue blog!

I’ve been keeping a little secret. A secret that grows bigger and bigger every day. That’s right – we’re expecting! I wasn’t keeping it under wraps on purpose, just that the days and the weeks have gone by and when I’ve blogged it’s been about Chace’s bedroom makeover. It just hasn’t come up – until now!

Here is what I have in mind to make a serene little oasis for our newest addition, arriving in April. Oh, and it’s ANOTHER boy! 🙂
