This weekend I finally got to decorate our mantel for the holidays!
Introducing our ‘merry mantel’.

I’m dreaming of a black mantel…
That we recently painted as you may know…
The autum look is has been erased, sparkle now sits in its place…
This large art print is the new star of the show…
I dreamt of creating a ‘look for less’…
So enter this frame that was so wrong it was right…
To get sprayed a nice and shiny white
And this amazing print from eighteen25 was so right…
I tweeked the colour a bit I confess… (green to silver)
And a scrapbook paper matt for show…
May your mantel be merry and bright…
And may your decorations be festive and light…

I’m dreaming of a sparkly garland…
draping under an adorable reindeer…
Christmas isn’t right unless you have a dove…
perched above the stocking of a little boy that you love…
